I looped track by track and mixed the loops into a tiny arrangement. Due to the surprise waiting for the individual tracks, they must remain available separately. So instead of hardware loopers, I used 10 Ableton loopers via the Faderfox.

For the sounds I created and used my own patches. NTS-1, Cloudbusting and Easel Command versus Loopman, Blooper, GR-1, OP-1, Shallow Water and a Sony tape deck were involved to collect the raw material. Then I created the patches in Ableton and Obsidian, played them improvisationally and recorded via Zerogravity, Space Echo and Ultrasheer into the Ableton loopers. I already did some arranging with my controller in this process, then finished mixing in Ableton and as refined the master with a tiny bit Gulfoss and Fabfilter magic.
