for this track i threw together eight random devices/clips in ableton live, each one building another layer on top of the previous clips, tweaking as i went to get them all sounding decent together. i recorded a couple of other parts on a korg monologue and an arturia microfreak, but they ultimately got cut from the final mix.

the final four parts that remain form the core of the idea. it keeps going but doesn't really arrive anywhere, and reminds me of a time i rode a train for 22 hours straight.
