I spend the early portion of the pandemic slipping deep into agoraphobia, but something happened (I’m not sure what exactly) and I decided to dive back into music making as a way to explore, learn and hopefully have something to show for the many hours I was too scared to leave my house.
Fall is my favorite of the seasons. Nature going dormant with a flash of color. @ambalek, a prolific member of the monome/lines community, wrote a script that captured the essence of the season which is where I started. From there I used a kick from o-dasho-dasho, some percussion made with a stick from the yard, my hand in a pile of leaves, a lekko piano from felt instruments, some 0-coast trough the microcosm, and various synths processed through a barcodes and a blooper.

I’m quite thankful for the new communities I’ve discovered because of this newly re-formed music exploration. <3
